In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A larceny occurred in the 700 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard West between 10 a.m. and noon on July 6. It was reported on July 8. The total estimated loss was $650.
  • A robbery with a firearm occurred in the 2400 block of South Main Street at 10:27 a.m. on July 8. The total estimated loss was $300.
  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 900 block of Peeler Road at 1:18 p.m. on July 8.
  • A burglary by forcible entry occurred in the 100 block of Clancy Street between 12:05 p.m. and 1:48 p.m. on July 8. The total estimated loss was $1,005.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 10:18 p.m. on July 8. The total estimated loss was $41.
  • Sylvia Quantina Dunn, 41, was charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing on July 8.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A motor vehicle accident involving a county-owned vehicle occurred in the 3400 block of South Main Street at 2:14 a.m. on July 7.
  • Wanda Kay Pennington, 72, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault on July 7.
  • Ignacio Alonso Rodriguez, 29, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired on July 7.
  • Nathen Lee Haskins, 30, was charged with a misdemeanor 50B, or domestic violence, violation on July 7.
