The sixth annual Rowan County Football Jamboree will be held at East Rowan on Aug. 16.

This will complete a full circuit, with each county school serving as the host for the event.

All the Rowan football teams will be in action. Admission is $8.

No teams scrimmage opponents they are scheduled to play in the regular season.

South Rowan plays Christ the King (Huntersville) at 5 p.m.

West Rowan battles Salisbury at 6 p.m.

North Rowan scrimmages Carson at 7 p.m.

East Rowan tangles with Pine Lake (Mooresville) at 8 p.m.

The regular season starts on Aug. 23.
