In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 8:45 a.m. on July 10. The total estimated loss was $59.
  • An assault occurred in the 200 block of Bendix Drive at 12:50 p.m. on July 11.
  • Scott Alan Turner, 31, was charged with misdemeanor larceny on July 10.
  • Roger Barrancos-Gutierrez, 39, was charged with a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence on July 11.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Fraud by impersonation occurred in the 300 block of Chinquapin Lane at 3 p.m. on July 8. It was reported on July 9.
  • Fraud by false pretenses occurred at Sherrills Ford Road at 9:52 a.m. on July 9.
  • Indecent exposure occurred at Childers Road at 11:40 a.m. on July 9.
  • Vandalism occurred at Harmony Lane at 1:19 p.m. on July 9. A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said that juveniles were shooting at targets on their property when one bullet missed the target and hit a neighbor’s window. Nobody was injured in the incident, the juveniles agreed to pay for the window and deputies elected not to press any charges.
  • Austin Michael Reid, 23, was charged with felony possession of a stolen vehicle and misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on July 9.
  • Patricia Lynn Kelley, 36, was charged with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor on July 9.
  • Gary Lee Duff, 31, was charged with misdemeanor communicating threats on July 9.
  • Arica Angelina Cerro, 36, was charged with misdemeanor violation of a 50-b, or domestic violence, order on July 9.
