In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • An assault occurred in the 1600 block of Brenner Avenue between 8:30 p.m. on July 18 and 9 a.m. on July 19.
  • Fraud by impersonation occurred in the 200 block of Askin Lane between noon on April 11, 2022, and noon on March 31, 2024. It was reported on July 19.
  • Possession of marijuana occurred at the intersection of Brenner Avenue and Standish Street at 9:04 p.m. on July 19.
  • Possession or concealment of drug paraphernalia occurred at the intersection of North Long Street and East Innes Street at 10:41 p.m. on July 19.
  • Vandalism occurred in the 1400 block of Longview Avenue at 4:50 a.m. on July 20.
  • A burglary by forcible entry occurred in the 300 block of West C Avenue at 9 a.m. on July 20.
  • A larceny occurred in the 500 block of East Innes Street between 7 p.m. on July 19 and 11:25 a.m. on July 20.
  • A larceny occurred in the 1300 block of Lakewood Drive between 9 a.m. and 12:18 p.m. on July 20.
  • Credit card fraud occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street between 10:02 a.m. and 1:29 p.m. on July 20.
  • Credit card fraud occurred in the 800 block of East Innes Street between 10:34 a.m. and 1:29 p.m. on July 20.
  • Credit card fraud occurred in the 500 block of East Innes Street between 9:27 a.m. and 1:29 p.m. on July 20.
  • Credit card fraud occurred in the 1000 block of East Innes Street between 9:37 a.m. and 1:29 p.m. on July 20.
  • An assault occurred in the 200 block of Henderlite Street at 11:15 p.m. on July 20.
  • A burglary by forcible entry occurred in the 200 block of East Fisher Street at 3:30 a.m. on July 21.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 100 block of Mahaley Avenue between 9 a.m. on July 18 and 9 a.m. on July 21.
  • A burglary by forcible entry occurred in the 400 block of Morlan Park Road between 1 p.m. and 1:33 p.m. on July 21.
  • Danny Lee Gobble, 35, was charged with misdemeanor driving while his license was revoked, misdemeanor improper use of license plates on a vehicle and misdemeanor failure to report an accident on July 19.
  • Willie Lee Jackson, 51, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer and misdemeanor identity theft on July 19.
  • Jacob Jeffrey Davis, 37, was charged with misdemeanor simple possession of schedule II, III, IV, V or VI controlled substances and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia on July 19.
  • Anne Star Glover, 41, was charged with felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance on July 19.
  • De’nya Lashwan Harriston, 24, was charged with simple assault and battery or affray and a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence on July 20.
  • Akira Chaunce Linney, 22, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer and misdemeanor being intoxicated and disruptive on July 20.
  • Janiyah Deneze Davis, 24, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer; a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence; and misdemeanor simple assault on July 20.
  • James Raymond Hannah, 32, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female on July 20.
  • Shelly Kay Moore, 39, was charged with misdemeanor larceny on July 21.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • An assault with a dangerous weapon occurred at West Liberty Street at 2 a.m. on June 24. It was reported on July 18.
  • An assault with hands, feet or fists occurred at West Liberty Street at 1:29 p.m. on July 4. It was reported on July 18.
  • Possession of drugs occurred at West Liberty Street at 1:29 p.m. on July 11. It was reported on July 18. Sheriff’s office reports indicate that the three cases on West Liberty Street were all connected to the investigation into and arrest of the two detention officers last week.
  • Trespassing and tampering with a motor vehicle occurred at Statesville Boulevard between 4:20 a.m. and 7 a.m. on July 17. It was reported on July 18.
  • A larceny occurred at Oak Breeze Drive at 1:23 p.m. on July 18.
  • Fraud by false pretenses occurred in the 1500 block of Julian Road between 3 p.m. on July 12 and 3:47 p.m. on July 18.
  • Forgery occurred at Organ Church Road between noon on July 18 and 7:35 a.m. on July 19.
  • Fraud by false pretenses occurred at Goodnight Road between 10:26 a.m. and 1:01 p.m. on July 19.
  • A larceny of automobile accessories occurred in the 13900 block of U.S. Highway 52 between 8 a.m. on July 12 and 6 p.m. on July 18. The total estimated loss was $280.
  • Amber Kaylyn Vaughn, 32, was charged with felony larceny on July 18.
  • Zachary Scott Ghent, 22, was charged with felony larceny by removing, destroying or deactivating a component of an anti-shoplifting device or inventory control device on July 18.
  • Sean Michael Belk, 38, was charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing and misdemeanor breaking and entering of a building on July 19.
  • Emily Mullis Eudy, 41, was charged with a felony probation violation on July 19.
  • Elizabeth Mae Hunt, 27, was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretenses on July 19.
  • Brittany Connell Scott, 40, was charged with felony possession of cocaine on July 20.
