In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• Shoplifting occurred in the 2100 block of Statesville Boulevard at noon on July 22.
• A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street between 2 p.m. and 3:44 p.m. on July 22.
• Stalking occurred in the 200 block of Lash Drive between 10:45 p.m. and 11:05 p.m. on July 22.
• An assault occurred in the 900 block of Sunset Drive at 11:30 p.m. on July 22.
• Latricia Delite Bernhardt, 47, was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and misdemeanor larceny on July 22.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A burglary by forcible entry, trespassing and vandalism occurred in the 500 block of Balfour Quarry Road at 11:10 p.m. on July 21.
• A theft of a motor vehicle occurred at St. Peters Church Road between 7 p.m. on July 20 and 10:54 a.m. on July 21.
• Frankie Lindann Branch, 37, was charged with misdemeanor injury to personal property on July 21.
• J.T. Hall, 49, was charged with possession of a schedule III controlled substance on July 21.
