Salisbury Police reports

  • A break-in was reported at Safety Taxi on East Fisher Street on July 21 at 3:30 a.m.
  • A car was reported stolen from a residence in the 1700 block of 2nd Street sometime between 5:30 p.m. July 19 and 8:30 a.m. July 20.
  • A theft from a car was reported to have occurred on Mahaley Avenue between 9 a.m. July 18 and 9 a.m. July 21.
  • A break in at a residence in the 400 block of Morlan Park Road was reported to have occurred between 1 and 1:33 p.m. July 21.
  • A person was reportedly assaulted on Pine Street on July 21 at 11:30 p.m.
  • A recreational vehicle was reportedly stolen from Motts Powersports, Inc. on North Main Street sometime between 1 p.m. July 2 and 1 p.m. July 18.
  • A burglary of a residence in the 1200 block of Rowan Mill Road was reported to have occurred around 2:25 p.m. July 22.
  • A hit and run was reported on South Arlington Street between 2 and 3:45 p.m. July 22.
  • An assault was reported on Sunset Drive just after 11:30 p.m July 22.
  • An attempt to steal a car from a residence in the 1600 block of 2nd Street was reported at 2:30 a.m. July 23.
  • A bicycle was stolen in the 1400 block of South Main Street between 7:30 and 7:57 p.m. on July 23.
  • A theft from a motor vehicle on West Fisher Street was reported about 12:06 p.m. July 23 with a total estimated loss of $100.
  • A theft from Mingle Contracting Inc. reportedly occurred between 4 p. m. July 19 and 7 a.m. July 23, with a total estimated loss of $30,000.
  • A car was reported stolen from the 100 block of West Miller Street between 8 p.m. July 21 and 1:51 p.m. July 23.
  • A hit and run on South Arlington Street was reported at 4:25 p.m. July 23.
  • Latricia Delite Bernhardt, 47, was arrested July 22 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury on a warrant from an assault that occurred in May.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Department reports

  • A truck was reported stolen from Cabin Creed Road, Mooresville sometime between noon June 27 and 7:51 p.m. July 21.
  • Marion Dajuan Feaster, 31, was arrested July 22 and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, simple possession of schedule III controlled substances, possession of ½ to 1 ½ ounces of marijuana, resist, obstruct or delay of an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia (marijuana).
  • Victor Diaz, 30, was arrested July 22 and charged with communicating threats.
