Salisbury Police reports

• A simple assault was reported on East Innes Street that occurred sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. on July 23.

• Zsa’quan Deshawn Maurice Burris, 26, was arrested July 24 in Kannapolis and charged with the resist, delay or obstruction of a police officer.

• Kenneth Lee Riddle, 37, was arrested July 24 and charged with assault on a female by a male over the age of 18.

Rowan County Sheriffs Office reports

• A car was reported stolen from Grace Church Road sometime between 11:59 p.m. July 22 and 8:51 a.m. July 23.

• A car was reported stolen from Old Beatty Ford Road, Rockwell sometime between 9 p.m. July 22 and 8:20 a.m. July 23.

• Lora Mackey Mann, 43, was arrested July 23 and charged with second-degree trespassing.
