Little League softball: Rowan 10U girls win regional championship

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Rowan Little League’s 10U softball all-stars finished their season with a victory in the Tournament of State Champions in Clarksville, Tenn.
The TOSC is a regional-level competition of state champs from the Southeast. Rowan won against West Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
There’s no 10U World Series.
The Rowan 10U team includes Callie Barrier, Peyton Brown, Harper Evernham, Karsynn Karriker, Analyn Kluttz, Paisley Lanning, Nelson Leonard, Kinsley Linton, Jaylee Nixon, Lily Poole, Emerson Raper and Illa Sechler.
The manager is Ashley Poole. Coaches are Joe Nixon and Scott Evernham.
The team is expected to return to Salisbury Community Park at about 6 p.m. on Monday for a celebration. Rowan’s 10U, 11U and 12U all won regional championships. The 12U team will play in the upcoming World Series in Greenville, N.C.
