Salisbury Police reports

• A car was reportedly stolen from a property in the 600 block of West Council Street sometime between 9:30 p.m. July 28 and 7:15 a.m. July 29.

• An assault in the 600 block of Mocksville Avenue reportedly occurred at 11:15 a.m. July 29.

• A cell phone was reported stolen from a property in the 600 block of Statesville Boulevard around 10 a.m. July 26,

• Vandalism at a property in the 1600 block of Standish Street reportedly occurred between 2 and 2:40 p.m. July 29.

• Stratto Gamallo Similton, 33, was arrested July 29 and charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

• Brandy Nicole Ramsey, 47, was arrested July 29 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• A break-in was reported at a commercial building on N.C. Hwy. 801 in Woodleaf sometime between 1:50 and 2 a.m. July 29.

• A theft from a motor vehicle on Barger Road reportedly occurred between 10 p.m July 28 and 6:40 a.m. July 29.

• Danyelle Dominique Williams, 36, was arrested July 29 and charged with assault on an individual with disabilities.

• Yesenia Guadalupe Gonzalez-Artega, 25, was arrested July 29 and charged with misdemeanor child abuse.

• Jordan Kirk Littleton, 40, was arrested July 29 and charged with harassing phone call.

• Delia Lorena Almazan, 24, was arrested July 29 and charged with misdemeanor child abuse.
