CHINA GROVE — In the lead up to students’ returning to school from summer vacation, the China Grove Police Department was the site of a Back to School Splash on Friday, Aug. 2. From 5-7 p.m., Swink Street was awash with guests that got to ride on China Grove’s iconic slip and slide set up, were treated to a free meal and shaved ice among other activities.
