School’s out for another day.

Continued weather-related hazards from Tropical Storm Debby prompted Rowan-Salisbury School System officials to cancel school for students on Friday, Aug. 9, marking the second day of cancelations for the district.

Friday will be an optional work day for staff, with buildings opening at 9 a.m. Students will now have to wait a few more days before returning to school from their summer vacations.
