KANNAPOLIS — United Baptist Church Will celebrate Rev. and Mrs. John E. Jones’ 50th anniversary.

“Please come out as we honor Pastor and Mrs. Jones on the third Sunday, Aug. 18, at our 11 a.m. service,” said a release from the church.

The 50th anniversary celebration will be held at United Baptist Church, which is located at 3001 Clermont Ave., Kannapolis.

Bishop Harvey Rice, pastor emeritus at Mt. Calvary Holy Church in Salisbury, will be the preacher of the hour at the 11 a.m. service.
