It is time for Kamala

Kamala Harris is highly qualified and ready to be the first female president of the United States. This is the time. I recommend that you tune in to one of her rallies. It is exciting to have a candidate that is optimistic about the future of America and has plans. Her running mate Tim Walz, a former teacher and coach, is ready to bring people together. He respects freedom and individuality. His catch phrase, “Mind your own business” is something we can all relate to. His 24-year military career has prepared him for the job and his warmth and sincerity is what our country needs. What a contrast to former president Trump, who is campaigning on name calling and negativity. He tries to frighten us by describing America as a gloomy, dangerous third-world country and proclaims we are heading to World War 3. He becomes easily distracted with picking new names for his opponents and referring to fictional characters such as Hannibal Lector. He does not focus on issues affecting all of us such as health care, education, social security, climate change and women’s rights. He does not have any plans. Again, I encourage you to watch a Harris-Walz rally and on Nov. 5 please vote for the candidate who wants to move America forward and not back. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are qualified and ready to lead a new generation into the future. This is the time.
