KANNAPOLIS —A 72-year-old Kannapolis man, Jeffrey W. White, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a pole on Friday night, Aug. 9.

Police say the accident occurred at West A and Kluttz Street, and investigation determined speed to be a factor in the accident.
