Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• A theft of a motor vehicle from a business on Cool Springs Road reportedly occurred between 9 p.m. Aug. 13 and 5 a.m. Aug. 14.

• Elijah A. Lawson III, 25, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with simple assault.

• Rodolfo Ramirez-Ruiz, 41, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with identity theft, trafficking heroin or opium and trafficking in MDA/MDMA.

Salisbury Police reports

• An assault on North Shaver Street reportedly occurred about 8:10 p.m. Aug. 15.

• Property damage from a hit and run on East Lafayette Street reportedly occurred about 5:30 a.m. Aug 15.

• A vehicle on East Innes Street was allegedly tampered with sometime between midnight at 8:34 a.m. Aug. 15.

• The theft of an iPad belonging to the Rowan-Salisbury School System reportedly occurred on East Cemetery Street sometime between noon May 22 and 7 a.m. Aug. 8. The theft, with a total loss value of $1,000, was reported Aug. 15.

• A burglary on South Clay Street reportedly occurred between midnight July 15 and 11:04 a.m. Aug. 15.

• A motor vehicle on Crawford Street was reportedly tampered with between 6:58 a.m. and 2:16 p.m. Aug. 15.

• A larceny from the 700 block of Maupin Avenue reportedly occurred about 4:31 p.m. Aug. 15. Total estimated loss was $1,069.

• An assault on Mahaley Avenue reportedly occurred at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 15.

• Tony Curtis Barrino, 54,  was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Sacred Miasia Nelson, 21, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Selena Gabrielle Goodlett, 21, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Devrie Leran Burris, 64, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with misdemeanor impaired driving.

• Earnhardt, Brittany Allison Earnhardt, 41, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering a building.

• Sasha Cherie Rippey, 33, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.
