Salisbury Police reports

• A theft of a motor vehicle from Benjamin Drive reportedly occurred between 3:40 a.m. Aug. 18 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 19.

• A theft of a motor vehicle from Bendix Drive reportedly occurred between 1 and 7:50 a.m. Aug. 19.

• Theft from a motor vehicle on Travis Lane reportedly occurred between 6 p.m. Aug. 18 and 12:10n p.m. Aug. 19. Total estimated loss was $250.

• A registration plate was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on Pinewood Avenue sometime between noon Aug. 12 and 2 p.m Aug. 19.

• An incident of fraud by impersonation from a resident on Woodleaf Road reportedly occurred between noon June 1 and noon June 2, and was reported to police Aug. 19. The total estimated loss was $51,000.

• A larceny from Lincolnton Road reportedly occurred between 12:27 p.m. Aug. 15 and 4:04 p.m. Aug. 18. The incident was reported Aug. 19 and the total estimated loss was $200.

• An assault on Beard Street reportedly occurred between 10 a.m. Aug. 18 and 6:04 p.m. Aug. 19.

• Theft of a license plate from a motor vehicle on Bendix Drive reportedly occurred between 8:40 p.m. Aug. 18 and 8:40 p.m. Aug. 19.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Arson of a storage unit/garage on Weaver Road, China Grove reportedly occurred at 3:56 a.m. Aug. 18. No injuries were reported.

• Jorge Delgado-Cornejo, 46, was arrested Aug. 18 and charged with violation of a county noise ordinance and resist, obstruct or delay of an officer.
