North Hills varsity boys soccer, led by head coach Marco Zapato, won 9-0 against Faith Academy.

Freshman Cohen Benfield scored four goals.

North Hills (1-1) bounced back from a loss to Statesville Christian.

The North Hills varsity volleyball team, coached by Talita McCain, is 3-0 after  sweeps of  Statesville Christian, Covenant Classical and Lake Norman Christian.

North Hills is ranked   second in the state for NCISAA 1A schools.

North Hills golfer Reese Merrell, coached by Les Merrell, was the medalist at a recent match at Corbin Hills that included North Rowan, South Rowan and Gray Stone.

Merrell shot 40 for nine holes and is ranked fifth for NCISAA Division II golfers.

Merrell has qualified for the state championships the last two years and has consistently been ranked in the top 20 during her high school career.
