Super Senior

The No. 1 seed in the Championship Division for the Super Senior 65+ will be held by defending champions Mallory McDaniel/John DeRhodes.  The Qualifying Medalist in the division was the team of Doug Glenn/Greg Chappell. To qualify for the Super Sr. Championship Flight teams had to shoot 72 or better.

With two Flights and 26 teams participating, there were 10 teams eliminated in qualifying.  To clinch a spot in the Match Play field, teams had to shoot 75 or better.  There were four teams tied at 76 to make it into the last 3 places of the Match Play field next weekend.  The teams of Larry Petrea/Nick Muller, Stan Jordan/Bruce Stolsworth and Russ Priddy/Grey Medinger all made it to Match Play.

Senior

With Bob Casmus/Chris Patti set to defend their championship, 27 teams in the Senior Division were playing to secure their place in a 24-team field.  The defending champs and the low seven qualifiers were placed in the Championship Flight. The team of David Chambers/Mike Herndon shot 70 on Saturday to secure their Medalist status and No. 2 seed. To qualify for the Championship Flight teams shot 73 or less.

To secure a spot in the Match Play field for the Senior Division, teams recorded a score of 78 or better.  Four teams in the Senior Division did not make the Match Play Field.

 Labor Day Championship Division

Defending Champions Jeff Lankford/Uly Grisette are set to defend their title with the No. 1 seed. The team of Chris Owen/McGwire Owen secured the No. 2 seed and Medalist honors with a score of 65 on Friday.  Two teams tied at 67 were Szalay/McCoy and Frank Adams/Russ Adams.  Six teams tied at 68 and the final six seeds in the Championship bracket were decided in a sudden death playoff.  Nine teams played for six spots.

The Open Division

The 2024 Labor Day event started with 105 teams playing for 80 spots in Match Play. After the 16 teams in the Championship Division there are 64 teams who have qualified for Match Play in the eight Open Flights.  Seeding for each flight is based on Score, then the order that the scores were posted.

There were 63 teams that posted qualifying scores from 69 to 79. They were placed into eight flights of eight.  The final spot in the field was determined by a playoff between four teams who had qualifying scores of 80. Surviving two holes and beating three other teams was the team of Jason Sparger/Jackson Sparger.  Jackson made a birdie 3 on the last hole.
