Tropical Storm Hector’s path and progress: NHC’s Tuesday, Aug 27 update

On Tuesday at 10 am, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Tropical Storm Hector is 1270 miles west-southwest of the Southern Tip of Baja California, with maximum sustained wind of 45 mph. It’s moving 12 mph to the west-northwest.

“Little change in strength is anticipated today, but gradual weakening is forecast to begin tonight and Wednesday.” according to forecasters.
