Salisbury Police reports

• Andrea Jane Marlowe, 32, was arrested Aug. 26 and charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• An assault with a knife was reported at 8:52 p.m on Walter Corriher Road in China Grove. Deputies said the victim allegedly stabbed a man after he began yelling at her, telling deputies she knew the man to carry a gun. The investigation has been referred to Criminal Investigations Division.

• Logan Edward Shanahan, 45, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with malicious conduct by a prisoner.
