Man arrested for shooting at mom

A 21-year-old man is under arrest after firing shots at his fleeing mother, according to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. Adison Kytone Gill of Woodleaf Road was charged with felony discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. According to reports, Gill fired a gun inside his family’s home and his mother then got in her car to leave. Gill came out and fired at least two shots at the car, hitting a tire and a rim. No one was injured.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• An illegal dump site was located on Harris Quarry Road at 10:39 a.m. Aug. 26.

• A larceny from Shores Acres Road reportedly occurred between 8 a.m. March 1 and noon Aug. 25.

• An accidental shooting on Lakeview Drive was reported at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 26.

• Michael William Seeley, 40, was arrested Aug. 26 and charged with resist, obstruct or delay of an officer.

Salisbury Police reports

• A burglary on Bringle Ferry Road reportedly occurred about 2:18 a.m. Aug. 27.

• A burglary on Lincolnton Road reportedly occurred about 3:05 a.m. Aug. 27.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from Arden Road at 5:20 p.m. Aug. 27. Total estimated loss of $500.

• An assault on Maple Avenue reportedly occurred about 7:13 p.m. Aug. 27.

• A simple assault on Mocksville Avenue reportedly occurred at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 27.

• Paul Edwards Sanders, 53, was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with assault on a female by male over 18 years of age.

• Jonisha Josetta Stanley, 42, was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with misdemeanor assault.

• Michael Thomas Crowder, 39, was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Joshua Matthew Zeigler, 49, was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with second-degree trespassing.

• Roger Darryl Mowery, 61,  was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with assault on a female.
