LANDIS — A hat trick by Michael Coles lifted South Rowan to a 3-2 win against Carson on Wednesday in South Piedmont Conference soccer.

Alex Morales and Jacill Perez-Gutierrez had assists for South (4-2-1, 2-1).

Alan Ballinas-Gutierrez made six saves.

Jon Pendleton and Diego Vasquez scored the goals that gave the Cougars are 2-all tie at halftime. Anthony Beckham had an assist.

GRANITE QUARRY — Caden Mesimer and Noah Dilon scored goals for East Rowan in Wednesday’s 2-all tie with West Rowan.

Gates Brady had an assist for the Mustangs.

George Nunez made 11 saves.
