One injured in overnight shooting

SALISBURY —  A 27-year-old man was shot several times just after 3 a.m. Sunday on Clancy Street, according to police. The victim was transported from Novant Health Rowan Medical Center to another area hospital, with multiple injuries, but his current condition is unknown.

Police say the shooting is not a random act. No arrests have been made yet.
