SALISBURY — Salisbury’s boys soccer team stayed undefeated — barely.

The Hornets (6-0-2) tied Randleman 1-all on Monday.

Randleman is 2-6-2, but was the aggressor most of the first half and led 1-0 the break.

“We were thoroughly outplayed for large portions of the first half,” Salisbury coach Matt Parrish said. “We made adjustments and we were better in the second half, although we were still out-shot for the game.”

Salisbury’s goal was scored by Hines Busby, with Fletcher Busby, his brother, getting the assist.

Luke Fowler, Samuel Goodman and keeper Finnegan Avery had good nights for the Hornets.
Salisbury continues the busiest week of the season on Wednesday in a crucial Central Carolina Conference opener at Thomasville, followed by West Rowan on Thursday. Both matches are at 6 p.m.
