MOUNT PLEASANT — South Rowan’s volleyball team had a good week and finished it with a sweep at Mount Pleasant.
The Raiders (12-4) handled the Tigers 25-16, 25-15 and 25-12.
The highlight was the 1,000th career dig for junior libero Campbell Withers.
Withers had 17 digs. Avery Fisher had 12 digs. Raegan Shell had nine digs. Meghan Eagle and Meredith Faw had eight digs each.
Clancy Street led in kills with eight. Laney Beaver and Eagle had five each.
Eagle had 15 assists, while Shell had seven.
• South also got a win in the jayvee match, taming the Tigers 25-13 and 25-14.
The Raiders (9-7) got eight kills from Olivia Eagle, six from Mallory Rhyne and four from Nora Wheeler.
Makenna Barham had 13 digs. Remi Hagerty had seven, and Makenna Jones had six.
Jones had 11 assists. Hagerty had five aces.

THOMASVILLE — Salisbury cruised to a Central Carolina Conference sweep at Thomasville on Thursday.
The Hornets (6-5, 6-1) won 25-11, 25-7 and 25-15 and are in second place in the CCC.
Ava Morris had 10 kills, while Carmen McQueen had six.
Salisbury had a lot of points on aces, with Addie Myers getting seven.
Kylaih Pearson-Hasty had eight digs.
Ashley Yang had 26 assists.
