The tropical storm was first addressed in an advisory by the National Hurricane Center at 10 am Friday. Tropical Storm Joyce is 1325 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 40 mph. It’s moving 13 mph to the northwest.

“On Monday, a gradual turn to the north is forecast.” forecasters wrote. “Gradual strengthening is expected through Saturday, followed by gradual weakening through early next week.”
