Three juveniles arrested in connection to Kannapolis homicide

KANNAPOLIS — Kannapolis police investigators have reportedly arrested three juveniles for a homicide which occurred in July.
According to a release from the Kannapolis communications director, Annette Keller, the three juveniles were arrested on Tuesday.
“Two of the juveniles were arrested in Charlotte, where they reside, while the third was arrested during a vehicle stop in Concord, where he resides,” Keller said in an email.
All three juveniles have been processed and have been transported to the Cabarrus Youth Development Center.
On July 16, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Kannapolis police officers responded to the intersection of Caribbean Court and Westgreen Drive after receiving a report of shots fired and a vehicle crashing into an apartment building.
Upon their arrival, officers found the driver of the vehicle, Damien Carter Senesaynho, 18, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
A front passenger, Carson Lee James, 20, was also shot. A third passenger in the vehicle, Jose Eduardo Castro, 16, sustained minor injuries from the crash.
