Rowan County Public Health is inviting the community to participate in a vital survey aimed at gathering feedback on how the county should allocate its Opioid Settlement funds. The opioid crisis continues to affect families, neighborhoods, and communities throughout Rowan County, and this funding represents a critical opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact.
The survey seeks input on the community’s perspectives regarding opioid use disorder (OUD), including:
- The greatest challenges facing our community related to opioid use and addiction.
- Key services and programs that could help prevent, treat, and support recovery from opioid use disorder.
- Ideas for utilizing the Opioid Settlement funds to best address local needs.
By participating in this survey, residents will have a direct voice in shaping how these funds are utilized to support those impacted by opioid use disorder and prevent future harm. The survey results will play a crucial role in guiding decisions for strategic investments in prevention, treatment, harm reduction and recovery support services.
