Thursday’s games …

THOMASVILLE – Shakeel Monroe Jr. rushed for three touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass to spark North Rowan’s jayvee football team to a 26-12 win against East Davidson.

Carter Williams caught the TD pass for the Cavaliers (1-2). EJ Fair caught a 2-point conversion pass.

Omar Walker and Tennyson Kirk were leaders for the North defense.

East Davidson is 1-5.

SALISBURY — Salisbury won 26-8 against Lexington.

Isaiah Davidson had two rushing TDs, a sack and a safety for the Hornets (4-2). Kiyren Brown had a rushing TD. Jordan Washington ran for three 2-point conversions.

Daniel Hensley had a forced fumble. Bryson Pastrana and Kennell Jackson had two sacks each. Darrius Graham-Taylor had a forced fumble and a sack.

Isaiah Foxx had a fumble recovery. Isaiah Reece had a TFL.

Lexington is 2-4.

MOUNT ULLA — West Rowan won 23-12 against Northwest Cabarrus.

Jalen Moten threw a touchdown pass to Jaidyn Bacon.

Landon Ryerson had a rushing TD and a 2-point conversion.

John Walters kicked a PAT. Moten passed to Jaylen “Batman” Donaldson for a 2-point conversion.

Devaunh White had a TD run for a 21-12 lead in the fourth quarter.

Aiden Sechler had an interception.

The Falcons (4-2) have won their three South Piedmont Conference games.

Northwest is 4-2.

LANDIS — Central Cabarrus outscored South Rowan 44-34.

Brooks Hunter threw three TD passes for the Raiders (1-4), two to Kaiden Fisher, one to Jack Garmon.

Houstonn Polston had a touchdown run and a kickoff return TD.

Hunter and Nic Woolf had runs for 2-point conversions.

Kole Kinley and Peyton Hagan forced fumbles.

Landon Barnhardt and CJ Stamey had fumble recoveries.

The Vikings are 3-3.

CHINA GROVE — Carson won 28-20 against Concord.

Triton Wood and Landon Stirewalt had their first touchdown runs.

Konnor Karriker caught a touchdown pass.

QB Colin Masingo also had a rushing touchdown.

Eduardo Luna kicked four PATs.

Neighborhood Kirk played well at cornerback for the Cougars (3-2).

Sedrick Wallace led the Carson defensive line and stopped a 2-point conversion. Gavin Witt had some big stops at linebacker.

Concord is 1-5.

CONCORD — A.L. Brown’s JV team stayed undefeated with a 33-14 win against Cox Mill.

Ashton Chavis had two rushing TDs.

AJ Settles ran for a TD and threw a TD pass to Jeremiah Christopher.

Christopher also had a kickoff return TD for the Wonders (5-0).

Cox Mill is 2-3.
