Just after 8:30 a.m. Monday there was a three-car crash on Deal Road, according to emergency offcials.

A car initially crossed left of the center line, according to police, striking a truck towing a trailer, and as another vehicle approached, that second car was hit head on. One of the vehicles ended up rolling over in a field off the roadway.

Two of the drivers were taken to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and NC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
