Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports
• A larceny of a motor vehicle from Overbrook Road reportedly occurred between 1 and 8 a.m. Oct. 8.
• An assault on Grace Church Road reportedly occurred between 12:56 and 4:20 p.m. Oct. 10.
• Theft of a motor vehicle from Grandeur Drive reportedly occurred between 3 and 7:33 a.m. Oct. 11.
• Property damage on Hartman Road reportedly occurred between 10 p.m. Oct. 10 and 8:07 a.m. Oct. 11.
• A larceny from Rowan County Maintenance on Airport Road reportedly occurred between 1:48 and 2:20 p.m. Oct. 7 and was reported Oct. 11.
• An assault on Mallard Lane was reported at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 11.
• Larceny of automobile accessories from NC 801, Mt. Ulla reportedly occurred between 12:30 and 1 a.m. Oct. 12.
• An assault on Charolais Drive reportedly occurred between 2:33 a.m. and 8:03 p.m. Oct. 12.
• Joseph Wilson Piercy, 38, was arrested Oct. 10 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay of an officer.
• Jarquise Lemar Long, 28, was arrested Oct. 10 and charged with carrying a concealed gun, driving with a revoked license and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
• Daniel Ray Corum, 46, was arrested Oct. 11 and charged with larceny.
• Tanner Joshua Hurley, 32, was arrested Oct. 11 and charged with violation of a domestic violence protective order.
• Jimmay Faustin, 35, was arrested Oct. 11 and charged with driving while impaired and failure to appear.
• Nicholas Antwan, 45, was arrested Oct. 12 and charged with possession of .5 to 1.5 ounces of marijuana and resist/obstruct/delay of an officer.
• Christopher Michael Doby, 26, was arrested Oct. 12 and charged with crime of domestic violence, assault on a female and resist/obstruct/delay of an officer.
• Dakota Lee Morris, 29, was arrested Oct. 12 and charged with second-degree trespassing, misdemeanor larceny and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
