KANNAPOLIS — The United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants will be in Kannapolis at A.L. Brown High School on Saturday for a free concert.

The concert will be held in the school’s performing arts center and starts at 7 p.m.

“This is a rare and exciting event to hear great patriotic music, broadway classics and as always a salute to celebrate our veterans,” Sgt. James Layfield said in an email.

Layfield plays trombone in the band.
