Student brings BB gun to school

At about 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, a student At Eisenberg Elementary School approached a teacher, telling him another student had something dangerous in their book bag.

When the teacher approached the student in question, the student admitted to having a BB gun. The teacher secured the BB gun, and the student’s parents were contacted. The student was suspended. Because the incident involves juveniles, no further information was available.

Salisbury Police reports

• Theft of a motor vehicle from Enterprise Rental on Bendix Drive reportedly occurred between 2 p.m. Sept. 13 and 5 p.m. Oct. 9. The theft was reported Oct. 21 when the rented vehicle was not returned.

• A larceny from a motor vehicle on River Birth Drive was reported at 4:07 pm. Oct. 21. Total estimated loss was $20.

• A larceny from a motor vehicle on Terrace Drive reportedly occurred between 5:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 21. Total estimated loss was $320.

• A report of tampering with a motor vehicle on Terrace Drive was reported at 4 p.m. Oct. 21.

• A larceny from a property on Henderson Street reportedly occurred between midnight Oct. 18 and 11:12 a.m. Oct. 22. Total estimated loss was $3,500.

• Vandalism at Han-dee Hugo’s on Jake Alexander Boulevard West was reported at 2:20 p.m. Oct. 22.

• A larceny from a property on North Main Street reportedly occurred between 11 p.m. Oct. 21 and 7 p.m. Oct. 22. Total estimated loss was $200.

• Larceny from a motor vehicle on Lash Drive reportedly occurred between 11 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7:23 a.m. Oct. 23. Total estimated loss was $605.

• Vandalism at a property on Club House Drive reportedly occurred about 4:59 p.m. Oct. 22. The incident was reported Oct. 23.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Green Street at East Innes Street reportedly occurred between 6 a.m. and 12:03 p.m. Oct. 23.

• Property damage from a hit and run on South Arlington Street at Freeland Drive reportedly occurred about 1:37 p.m. Oct. 23.

• Matthew Alexander Neal, 23, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with misdemeanor injury to personal property.

• Damarious D. Crawford, 34, was arrested Oct. 23 and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Damage to a county vehicle from an accident on North Correll Street and East Garden Street, Landis occurred at 08:27 a.m. Oct. 22.

• A theft of a motor vehicle on Cauble Road reportedly occurred between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and 6 a.m. Oct. 22.

• A report of property damage from vandalism on Romana Drive reportedly occurred between 10:15 and 10:20 a.m. Oct. 22.

• A larceny of automobile accessories from I-85 North, China Grove, reportedly occurred between 6:15 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 21.

• Treivente Rodriquez Cunningham, 29, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with carrying a concealed gun.

• Ashley Jordan Lambert, 30, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premises.

• Rebecca Hope Craig, 42, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

• Devin Shatahra Sturdivant, 36, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with driving while impaired, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, three counts of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premise and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Wanda Sifford Reid, 73 was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with second-degree trespassing.

• Gerald Wayne Henry Jr., 33, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, simple assault and injury to personal property.
