Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Derrick Lamont Sloan, 48, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with contributing to the neglect of a minor.

• Donna Rita Lemire, 50, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Cassandra Denise Bennett, 48, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with habitual felon.

• Steven Dean Christensen, 55, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with sex offender violation: failure to notify of address change.

• Ronald Owen Powers Jr., 39, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, two counts of trafficking in heroin or opium, two counts of maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance with intent to manufacture, two counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, two counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute.

• Eardly Pant, 43, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with trafficking in drugs, trafficking in heroin or opium, possession of schedule II controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute, possession of schedule VI substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
