College volleyball: Catawba ends season

SALISBURY — Catawba wrapped up the volleyball season on Friday with a 25-14, 25-11 and 25-21 loss to UVA Wise.

Catawba had a tough season, 4-21 overall and a 2-16 record in the South Atlantic conference.

Defensive specialist Kary Hales (Carson) had seven digs and an ace on Senior Night. She had 13 aces for the season and was second on the team with 247 digs.

Sophomore libero Riley Hill (East Rowan) led the Indians in digs for the season with 393.

Junior Kelcie Love (West Rowan) led the Indians in kills with 184. She had five on Friday.
