College women’s basketball: Blue Bears blown out in Florida

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — Livingstone’s women’s basketball team hung with Barry University for a half, but the wheels came off in the third quarter.
Barry had a 26-7 edge in the third quarter and romped 93-67 at the Health & Sports Center. Audrey Jennings scored 24 for Barry (6-1).
Barry had a 52-41 edge on the boards and got to the foul line a lot more frequently. Barry shot 45 percent.
Livingstone lost the turnover battle 21-17 and shot 37 percent.
Thalia Carter led the Blue Bears (1-7) with 18 points. Morgan Kelson had 10 points and 13 rebounds. Ny’Asia Green scored 10.
