College men’s basketball: LC loses at Bluefield State

BLUEFIELD, W. Va. — Bluefield State beat Livingstone’s men’s basketball team 94-79 on Saturday with 130 fans looking on at Ned Shott Gymnasium.
Bluefield State (5-3) beat Livingstone (6-3) for the second time, although this one won’t count in the CIAA standings.
It was a high-tunover game with Livingstone turning it over 25 times to Bluefield State’s 22.
Bluefield State simply shot better — 50.7 percent from the field with eight 3-pointers. Livingstone shot 40.5 percent.
Jamal Cannady was the high man for the Blue Bears with 17 points. Romeo Aquino got 20 for the Big Blue.
