SALISBURY — Second Presbyterian Church will be doing an encore performance of the Christmas play, “Christmas in Da Hood,” on Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Because they had a sold out performance last weekend, and many who came were not able to get in, they decided to have another show, said James Harley, pastor of the local congregation.

Cost is $10 cash at the door, and it will be held at the church, 732 Lincolnton Road, Salisbury.

Playwright and director Donald Gray, a native of Woodleaf, wrote this production.

“Christmas in the Da Hood was a success and brought to light the real reason for the season — Jesus!!,” said Harley.
