She is super funny and nice to her students and she is an amazing person. We wrote many stories in class with her, many like short stories, and she did a baking activity with us. She is the best.”
Classified Staff Member of the Month:
South Rowan High’s School Food Manager Joe Harris was named the classified staff member of the month.
“Harris is a vital member of the Yum Yum Bus team in the summer,” Shue said. “We don’t want to forget about that.”
The Yum Yum Bus delivers meals to Rowan-Salisbury Schools students during the summer months when classes are not in session.
Shue said that the student who nominated Harris wrote: “Joe is always going out of his way to ask every how they ar doing and about their day when we go through the lunch line. He also spends his own time coming to athletic events to support us and shares with us how proud he is after he comes.
