SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — Hannah Wilkerson (North Rowan) scored a career-high 30 points on Dec. 21 in Clarion’s 94-84 overtime loss at Shippensburg.
Wilkerson shot 13-for-21.
She’s in a sixth person role and is averaging 10.6 points and 4.5 rebounds.

NEWBERRY, S.C. — Catawba freshman Bailee Goodlett (North Rowan) scored 10 as the Indians finished pre-Christmas action with a 71-57 win at Newberry.
Goodlett averages 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Kyla Bryant (Salisbury) scored 20 points in North Carolina Central’s 62-53 win at Winthrop to close pre-Christmas action for the Eagles.
It was the first win for NC Central (1-12), Winthrop is 6-6.
Bryant played all 40 minutes and had five assists, four rebounds and thee steals.
Bryant averages 11.2 points and 4.7 rebounds and leads the team with 31 assists.

FAYETTEVILLE – Bluefield State (6-7) wrapped up pre-Christmas action with a 74-53 CIAA loss at Fayetteville Stte.
Icesis Nwafor (Salisbury) has played in 11 out of 13 games and averages 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds.

MADISON, Wisc. — Albany (10-2) wrapped up pre-Christmas play with a 69-59 loss at Wisconsin.
Freshman MaKayla Noble (Salisbury) had an injury setback early in the season and has played a few minutes in three games.

WISE, Va. — Mars Hill freshman Lauren Arnold (West Rowan) has been getting a lot more playing time recently and got 23 minutes of action in the 80-75 loss at UVA Wise that ended pre-Christmas action for the Lions (8-5). Arnold made a 3-pointer and had five points and six rebounds.
Mars Hill will play at Catawba after the Christmas break.

DANVILLE, Va. — D’Ajua Cuthbertson (West Rowan) played 23 minutes and scored four points for Johnson & Wales (8-4) in a 59-48 win at Averett that wrapped up pre-Christmas action.

RALEIGH — De’Mya Phifer (West Rowan) helped Cape Fear Community College to get off to a 12-0 start. Cape Fear won 73-46 at Wake Tech on Dec. 18.
