Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• An assault on Sloan Road, Mt. Ulla reportedly occurred about 9:16 p.m. Jan. 4 but was reported Jan. 5.

• A burglary on Bonanza Drive reportedly occurred between 1:30 and 1:39 a.m. Jan. 5.

• An assault on West C Street, Kannapolis reportedly occurred at 7:18 a.m. Jan. 5.

• A burglary on Buck Drive reported occurred at 10:52 a.m. Jan. 5.

• Property damage due to vandalism on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred between 1:15 p.m. Jan. 4 and 11:30 a.m. Jan. 5.

• A theft of a firearm from Timber Ridge Drive reportedly occurred between 4 p.m. Jan. 4 and 10 a.m. Jan. 5.

• Anthony Granados-Mercado, 23, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with being intoxicated and disruptive, second-degree trespassing, assault on a female and simple assault.

• Steven Dean Christensen, 55, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with violation of a release order.

• Virgila Naseer Winfield, 28, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with possession of schedule I controlled substance and possession of up to 1/2 ounce marijuana.

• David Patrick Gulledge, 21, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with misdemeanor possession of stolen good and fraudulent use of a financial transaction card.

• A theft of an automobile from Pearl Street reportedly occurred between 7 and 8 p.m. Jan. 4.

• A burglary on North Jackson Street reportedly occurred between 11:01 and 11:35 a.m. Jan. 4.

• A larceny from a motor vehicle on Pearl Street reportedly occurred between 11 p.m. Jan. 3 and 9 a.m. Jan. 4.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Jake Alexander Boulevard South reportedly occurred at 3:35 p.m. Jan. 4.

• A burglary on South Main Street reportedly occurred between 10:30 a.m. Jan. 3 and 1:11 a.m. Jan. 5.

• A larceny from Harbor Freight Tools on East Innes Street reportedly occurred about 10:41 a.m. Jan. 5.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred about 11:34 a.m. Jan. 5.

• A burglary on Majolica Road reportedly occurred between 11 and 11:13 p.m. Jan. 5.

• Carlene Sharea Tinley, 50, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with obtaining property by false pretenses, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.

• Jerry Lee Hawthorne, 64, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with obtaining property by false pretenses.

• Timothy Creed Roberts, 18, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay of an officer, assault on a law enforcement officer and disorderly  conduct/disturbing the peace.

• Justin Wayne Coe, 28, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay of an officer, possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute, and two outstanding warrants that were not specified.

• Carrie Lee Long, 46, was arrested on Jan. 4 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Michael Shannon Daniels, 53, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with reckless driving to endanger.

• Christopher Cortez Fleming was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with obtaining property by false pretenses.

• Stephanie Ann Walton, 35, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with second-degree trespassing.

• Christopher Tyrone Grant, 47, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay of an officer and second-degree misdemeanor trespassing.
