SALISBURY — The Family Crisis Council will be hosting a victim assistance training program from Jan. 13 to Jan. 17, and the deadline to sign up for the program has been set for Friday.

The event will be held at Livingstone College from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. every day next week and is open to the public and free. The training will provide insight into assisting the victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking as well as child advocacy.

Dinner will be provided for attendees so long as they RSVP to the organization by the end of Friday.
