SALISBURY, N.C. – The Catawba College men’s basketball program has announced the addition of a non-conference matchup against local rival Livingstone on Monday, Jan. 13, at Goodman Arena.

Catawba and Livingstone have shared a home in Salisbury for a century as 2025 marks the 100th anniversary of Catawba moving its campus into town.

The programs are set to meet on the basketball court for the first time since 2012 and the 20th time overall in a series dating back to 1970.

The contest tips off at 6 p.m. with a live broadcast on FloCollege and real-time stats on CatawbaAthletics.com.

Catawba (8-6) is coming off a loss at Wingate in its most recent action. Nick Walker (13.1 points per game) leads a balanced scoring attack for the Indians.

Livingstone (8-7) dropped road games last week at Elizabeth City State at Virginia State. Jamal Cannady Jr. averages 16 points per game to lead the Blue Bears.
