High school football: Webb first team All-State for special teams by High School OT

High School OT named Salisbury senior Hank Webb first team All-State as a special teams player.
Webb’s season included a 46.3-yard punting average and 11-for-13 on field goals. He did that while also having a stellar season as the Hornets’ quarterback.
Webb has received a number of Division II offers as a kicker/punter.

A.L. Brown’s Tai Buster, an offensive lineman who signed with Auburn, was named first team All-State.

South Rowan senior Jadon Moore was Honorable Mention All-State as a special teams player. Moore had unusual ST stats in that he spent some time as both a kicker and a kick returner. He had 460 return yards.

West Rowan junior Carter Durant was Honorable Mention as a special teams player. His punting average was 46.0 and he kicked five field goals.

West Rowan senior Evan Kennedy was Honorable Mention as a running back. Kennedy scored 23 touchdowns and accounted for more than 1,600 yards. His stats were almost evenly split between rushing yards and receiving yards.

North Rowan senior quarterback/linebacker Jeremiah Alford was Honorable Mention as a two-way player. Alford passed for 1,916 yards and made 52 tackles.

Charlotte Christian’s Jamal Rule, who transferred from Salisbury, was an Honorable Mention running back. He rushed for 1,236 yards and 15 touchdowns. Rule reclassified, so he’s only a junior and has another year of high school football.
