In Salisbury Police Department reports:
- A hit and run causing a miscellaneous injury occurred in the 200 block of East Innes Street., at 12:10 a.m. on Jan. 10.
- A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 500 block of Laurel Pointe Circle between 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 and 3:20 a.m. on Jan. 10.
- Vandalism occurred in the 100 block of West 11th Street at 4:55 a.m. on Jan. 10.
- A larceny occurred in the 300 block of Ashbrook Road between 11 a.m. on Jan. 8 and 5 a.m. on Jan. 10. The total estimated loss was $415.
- A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 1500 block of North Long Street between 1:32 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Jan. 10.
- Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 3:33 p.m. on Jan.10. The total estimated loss was $34.
- A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 1200 block of East Colonial Drive at 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 10. The total estimated loss was $100.
- Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 10:40 p.m. on Jan. 10. The total estimated loss was $22.
- A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 2200 block of Statesville Boulevard between 7 p.m. on Jan. 10 and 11 a.m. on Jan. 11.
- A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred at the intersection of Jake Alexander Boulevard South and Julian Road at 5:04 p.m. on Jan. 11.
- Shoplifting occurred in the 400 block of East Innes Street at 5:20 p.m. on Jan. 11. The total estimated loss was $183.
- Shoplifting occurred in the 200 block of Faith Road at 5:45 p.m. on Jan 11. The total estimated loss was $40.
- Fraud by false pretenses occurred in the 200 block of Laurel Pointe Circle between 6:22 p.m. on Jan. 6 and 6:20 p.m. on Jan. 11. The total estimated loss was $350.
- Miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 200 block of East Bank Street at 5:50 p.m. on Jan. 12.
- Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 12. The total estimated loss was $15.
- Tampering with a motor vehicle occurred in the 1000 block of Ashwood Place between 6 p.m. on Jan. 10 and 1:40 a.m. on Jan. 13.
- Leroy Gibbons, 33, was charged with a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence on Jan. 10.
- Brent Ozari Hemphill, 19, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer on Jan. 12.
- Jason Lee Rickard, 47, was charged with a misdemeanor violation of a 50b order on Jan. 12.
- Joseph Tambah Samolu, 70, was charged with misdemeanor impaired driving on Jan. 13.
In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:
- Credit card fraud occurred in the 200 block of Strawberry Lane between midnight and 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2024. It was reported on Jan. 9.
- A larceny of automobile accessories occurred in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 601 between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 6, 2024. It was reported on Jan. 9.
- A larceny from a building occurred in the 1400 block of Spring Meadow Drive between 2:44 p.m. on Jan. 7 and 11 a.m. on Jan. 9.
- An assault with hands, feet or fists occurred in the 200 block of Knight Farm Road between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Jan. 9. It was reported on Jan. 10.
- A larceny from a motor vehicle and vandalism occurred at Needmore Road between 8 p.m. on Dec. 26, 2024, and 8 p.m. on Jan. 9. It was reported on Jan. 10.
- A theft of a motor vehicle occurred between midnight on Jan. 10 and 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 11.
- Carolyn Larene Carr, 48, was charged with felony identity theft, felony obtaining property by false pretenses and misdemeanor larceny on Jan. 9.
- Ann Marie Henze-Morgan, 58, was charged as a fugitive from justice on Jan. 9.
- Kenneth Wayne Sheperd, 54, was charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle on Jan. 9.
- Kenta Montrice Wright, 43, was charged with felony failure to report a new address as a sex offender on Jan. 10.
- Steven Dean Christensen, 55, was charged with felony identity theft and misdemeanor larceny on Jan. 10.
- Sharif Kareem Washington, 33, was charged with felony failure to register as a sex offender on Jan. 10.
- Ronnie Leo Truman III, 35, was charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on Jan. 11.
- Nathaniel Mark Harvey, 31, was charged with misdemeanor possessing stolen goods on Jan. 11.
