SALISBURY — Rowan EDC recently announced that Director of Business Services Kendall Henderson successfully completed the Certificate in Workforce Development Fundamentals Program, a joint initiative by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Foundation.

This accomplishment highlights Henderson’s dedication to advancing workforce solutions that drive economic growth and create meaningful opportunities in Rowan County.

The program, which emphasizes equitable workforce opportunities and outcomes, provided Henderson with specialized training in workforce development strategies, building collaborative partnerships and addressing labor market challenges. With this certification, Henderson is uniquely equipped to enhance Rowan EDC’s initiatives, supporting businesses and industries in meeting their workforce needs while fostering a thriving local economy.
