CONCORD ó True World Foods LLC has signed a lease for space in the International Business Park at Concord.
The international company is the U.S.’s largest wholesale fresh seafood distribution company and provides fresh seafood and related products to more than 2,000 restaurants.
The location in the International Business Park at Concord will make this the firm’s 28th location in the U.S.
“True World Foods chose the International Business Park as its next location because of its proximity to I-85, the professional image of the park and the proximity to partners and other related industries,” noted Tucker Shade of Tri Properties Inc., who brokered the deal on behalf of True World Foods. “These were all very important and attractive attributes that were a necessity to the company.”
True World Foods LLC signed a long-term lease for 12,500 square feet of operations and distribution space. The space will be used like their other locations ń as a distribution point for fresh seafood and other related food products that are flown in daily and delivered to their clients on the same or next day.
“True World Foods LLC is an excellent fit for the park and reinforces the goal that the upcoming speculative building will fill up,” said Bryan Crutcher, vice president, CB Richard Ellis. Crutcher brokered the deal on behalf of Enterprise One Associates LLC, the owner of the building.
“We are absolutely thrilled that the company chose the International Business Park as its next location for its rapidly expanding business.”
The tenant is waiting for upfits to be completed in their space and expects to occupy in less than 90 days.
