A Salisbury teen is in jail after she threatened to kill an officer while in court Friday .
Tyravia Akeise Angle, 16, of 165 Mahaley Ave., was charged with making threats against an executive or legislative officer.
A Salisbury Police report said Angle appeared in court Thursday before District Court Judge Marshall Bickett when she began cursing after hearing her sentence. Bickett had sentenced the teen to eight days in a juvenile detention center.
The report said she threatened Vanessa Hovis, who works with the Rowan County Juvenile Courts and Bickett.
Angle told Hovis, “You going to die, I’m going to kill you when I see you out.”
Bickett then sentenced Angle to 30 days for contempt of court. The teen was placed in handcuffs and taken to jail.
She remains in the Rowan County Detention Center without bond.
