KANNAPOLIS ó Fire heavily damaged or destroyed a mobile home Saturday night.
According to the Kannapolis Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to a residential structure fire at 816 Genoa St. at 11:39 p.m. Saturday.
The first crews arrived at 11:44 p.m. to find half of a a singlewide mobile home in flames.
Fire officials declared the blaze under control at 12:03 a.m. Sunday.
Twenty-two personnel from from Kannapolis stations 1, 2, 3 and 4 responded to the fire.
Cabarrus County EMS responded to provide any necessary medical support. The Cold Water, Enochville, Landis and Odell fire departments also provided assistance.
