UNC-Chapel Hill grad
Anna Louise Glasgow graduated May 11 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A dean’s list student, she received a bachelor of arts degree of highest distinction in biology with a minor in environmental studies.
Glasgow spent her fall 2007 semester abroad in Kenya, East Africa, studying wild game management and was inducted into the UNC-CH Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She plans to return to Kenya Aug. 18 to teach high school biology with the nonprofit organization, Staff of Hope, and participate in community hygiene education.A 2004 honor graduate of Salisbury High School, she is the daughter of Doug and Carolyn Glasgow of Salisbury.
